I suggest you search the forum here to see what has been discussed. You will find many detailed discussions about OneShot and other drum apps. So much depends on what you want.
Thank you so much for this video. It was very helpful. I am looking forward to trying these guitar effects! I have never been a pedal guy but I have worked a lot with effects using my headrush board and my spark amp. My question is, how do you use these AUV3 pedal effects without having an amp and cabinet to choose?
I have another question which is a different topic.... has anyone used Max Yar's jam book? I am looking for some guidance in learning how to set up song templates in loopy pro. What is the best way to go?
There are amp and cab auv3s that you can insert after the effects (or in between your drive/modulation and delay/reverb). Something like Tonestack or Amplitube have these built into their collections/interface. I usually use an auv3 called NAM XT and load in amp and cab captures.
Or maybe I misunderstood the question haha
I agree the rating did not do Klevgrad any favour. The window is small but only when used in stand alone. In AUV3 you set it as big or small as you want.
The reason it as a keyboard is because that’s the mapping of your drum kit.
The reason it as no drum pad is because it’s a drum sound module, their is no sequencer built in.
It is the best natural drums on iOS by far. I use it with Helium and midi beats I bought.
This is a video I did a while back if your curious.
Depends on what you mean by "best".
One Shot and Drum Perfect Pro are the best for detailed and realistic drum sounds. Nothing touches them. One Shot doesn't have a sequencer. Drum Perfect Pro has a sophisticated sequencer, but it's only in the standalone version and can be difficult to learn.
They may not be the "best" for what you're looking for. Maybe you don't need highly realistic drums. There are plenty that deliver good basic drums. Maybe you need a simple to use sequencer. Maybe you need a lot of included patterns. Maybe you need to be able to easily audition patterns, maybe you need something like the Luis Martinez apps that sort of "jam" along with you. Maybe you like to make your own drum sounds ...
