BMP Crazy in Midi device?

edited August 2025 in Loopy Pro

Why does 500 BMP appear on the controller when I connect Loopy Pro to my Morningstar MC8 MIDI controller and does it sometimes affect Loopy Pro as well?

I really feel like this controller does very strange things when I connect it to the iPad and open Loopy Pro. Suddenly the bank up and similar things don't work.

  • Hi. Maybe Loopy Pro recognizes it as a certain type of device and is sending it feedback. If the controller has different modes/presets, which mode are you using?

    See:

Besides turning midi feedback off, check its midi clock settings.
