Audiofuse 16rig no input in Loopy Pro 2.0 Ipad

I'm experiencing an issue with my Audiofuse 16rig inputs not being picked up in Loopy Pro 2.0 on iPad. The device shows up and the various inputs are available however there is no input when I try to send audio via any of the channels (the channel doesn't indicate any audio and it is obviously not being recorded). I have tried the same configuration in AUM and Cubasis and both pick up the inputs and I am able to record etc. I'm sure I'm missing something and was hoping somebody might have some advice.

Thanks!

Are you able to send audio to it from Loopy Pro?

Try the following and let me know what happens:

    • in loopy pro’s system settings panel, make sure multi-route audio is off.
    • Shut down your iPhone/ipad with slide to power off
    • Disconnect all attached peripherals and power them down
    • Power up the iPhone/iPad
    • After the device is powered up, connect the minimal number of peripherals required for the interface to be connected
    • Launch loopy pro
    • Create a new project from Loopy’s default project
    • Choose input 1 of your interface as the input for the input channel
    • In loopy pro’s mixer, tap on the icon at the top of the input channel.
    • Confirm that it shows the interface as the input device and that the hardware gain is not set to 0
    • Make noise on whatever is feeding input 1

Does anything show up in the meters?

  • Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately I have tried this with no luck. I get the same issue on my iPhone too. However it is only with Loopy Pro, any other DAW type software sees the interface in the same way but it also is able to record incoming audio.

I've also just tested with playing music via Apple Music and that works and I can record a voice note with one of the inputs from the Audiofuse.

The meters in Loopy don't move at all indicating there is nothing coming in (when set to internal microphone the meters do show movement). The Global Hardware Gain is 'unavailable' - greyed out.

I’ll check in with Michael to see what information we can gather to shed light on this.

  • Thanks, I really appreciate you following up. Please let me know if I can provide any more information.

  • How infuriating! I’m sorry to hear that that’s been happening

At this stage I think I’m going to just need to get my hands on an actual device so that I can diagnose it here – you guys have already gone through all the steps that I would have suggested. I’ve reached out to my contact at Arturia to ask them if they might loan me a device

Sorry, I only just saw your reply. Thanks again for following it up, it’s appreciated!

Please let me know if I can provide any info to help. It does just seem to be the inputs as audio does come out via the 16rig when I play an auv3 synth via midi.
