Glitchy sound and sample geting shorter
I noticed some glitchy sounds when using Value Change to adjust the clip playhead, offset, or pitch.
Also, after playing a long sample and shortening it, I can’t revert it back to its original length.

That’s unavoidable if you ask me. There is zero transition time in which to skip through all those middle points as the sample is playing. Try setting the stepped dial to “perform actions on release” so that all the interim steps don’t activate when moving from one to the other. The radio grid is switching from one point to another directly so it doesn’t have to scrub through each step in between like the dial does.
It’s even worse with a knob or slider. You’re asking loopy to make basically infinite starts and stops from different points in the playback while it’s playing.
Some apps have a “scrub” function, but that’s not what this is.
@wim Thank you wim.
In Ableton Live and on the Chase Bliss MOOD mk2, I haven’t experienced those issue.
It seems that there is some room for improvement in Loopy Pro’s playback sound quality.
In your video, we can’t see the actions you are triggering . So it is impossible to really advise.
Without seeing a project where you can’t restore the original length, I can’t speculate. That is the first report that I’ve had.

Thank you for your reply.
It happens with the Offset, Playhead and Pitch.
Sample getting shorter might happend after tempo change or playing with length.
I send you the project with the glitchy sound, new recording get the same result.
@cellicello : do you have a project where the sample cannot be restored to its original length?
As for the the glitchy sound when changing the pitch, offset and playhead in realtime. [ EDIT - NOT TRUE-ignore: Turn on fast time-stretching for better results ]. The re-pitching wasn't designed for the sort of constant realtime pitch changes you are doing. Similarly, offset sample wasn't intended for that sort of continuous change.
