The Sweetest Sound / @Jankun @Daveypoo collaboration
Jean and I did this in 2020 with @Daveypoo (orchestration) I stumbled across it and really liked what they did both did with my lyrics and melody. The vocal is a little muffled. I remixed but wonder if it can still be improved somehow.

@Daveypoo glad to hear from you, brother. You did a great job on this one. Also listened to your Naked Traveller again. We had some fun! Are you in Verona 3+ yrs now? I can only imagine how you feel about your prescient decision. We’re all in the soup here, for sure.
@LinearLineman Been here 4+ years and life is truly fantastic. I chose to pursue the venue change for personal reasons, not politics, and while I do have a bit of guilt at watching my friends and loved ones struggle, I'm extremely lucky to be able to have done it at all.

@LinearLineman yes you are correct about the vocals, i can make them sound a bit better and even the song by remixing and mastering it here in my little studio. If so please send me a personal mail. It would be a nice project for me. frenq
@Daveypoo surely knows what he is doing! I just press buttons and move faders remotely. Sometimes it sounds OK, sometimes not so much.
I think you're gonna have a hard time improving the vocals, Dave did what he could back then. At that time, I didn't have any proper mic and used the iPad mic (I think I was still on a iPad air 2 and those were pretty bad ...)
@Daveypoo, @LinearLineman, @JanKun, You all have certainly done excellent work, but I am sure that I probably can make the vocals sound better. But we will never know if we don't try. Maybe a nice idea to make the tracks available for public mixing for anyone who wants it? I would definitely be curious about the results, and this song is definitely suitable for it. I'm not sure if there are actual individual tracks - we may have been just dubbing on top of each other's tracks at that point but honestly I can't remember.

@Daveypoo If there are no separate tracks, that's definitely a pity. To improve the vocals, I definitely need the individual vocal tracks. The rest sounds very acceptable.
I didn't know that there probably aren't any separate tracks. If that's the case, unfortunately, we will have to leave it at that. Such a pity for such an excellent song. I just wanted to help make it even more beautiful.
