Discrete action when slider value reached?

Hi!
Is there a way to start a discrete action when a slider value is reached? For example:

  • if value=0, stop clip X
  • if value>30, enable effect

Using a midi scripting app like streambyter or mozaic or midi messenger you could. You could get creative with a stepped dial controlled by a slider, too.

What I have done is have my slider send midi cc or pitchbend to streambyter in addition to whatever else the slider does and have streambyter send midi when some trigger conditions are met.

  • It seems that conditions will be in the next release if I understood the announce?

Conditional behavior may not cover a situation like this. Conditional behavior will let you determine different behaviors when something is triggered based on conditions. So, it might let you determine that something different will happen when you trigger a widget when the value of slider x is 0 and when it is more than 30.

Definitely not the next release. It’s just something being worked on, not something ready to go.
