iPad M1 & M2 USB-C Hub Problem
Hi
I have an M1&M2 iPad Pro they were working fine but since the iOS 18 and after it connects my keyboard but the charging on iPads does not work I tried a couple of usb-c hubs …the sane issue I Even powered my keyboard separately and connected only the midi with a midi interface no luck I use a Multi Charger in total 5A output tha only the usb-c hubs are connected one at a time
As I said before till ios18 everything was working fine on both
What I noticed is wile connected and playing is fine no delays nothing Just It Does not charge even though it shows that is charging the battery levels of the iPad are degreasing
My Question is Is This A Hub problem and if yes can somebody suggest a working hub please
PS
I’m Running iOS 26
Any help is much appreciated

Sometimes what I noticed is that if it shows charging , but it still goes down in charge while fully loaded with apps running, could mean that the internal battery is being pushed beyond it’s charging capacity. Meaning, no matter how powerful your charger may be, the battery is not as new and powerful as it once was and it’s just trying to keep up.
Is your Multi Charger a USB-C charger?
USB-C chargers are not rated in amperes like the old 5V USB chargers. What is the power rating (watts) of the charger?
Does your hub have a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) port, and are you connecting the charger to it?
Is the iPad connected to the host port (usually a wire) on the hub?
@uncledave Thsts Correct The only one I’m nos sure is the power how many Watts is
Good. Check the charger specs. It might not be able to supply the connected devices and charge the iPad.
@uncledave Thank You !!
I will order a new fast charger usb-C 30w I hope this will fix the problem
Thank you @Tones4Christ !!
Hopefully it’s just may need more current, and thr new adapter may just do it.
