Using two Launchpads of the same type at once ?
Has anybody used two Novation Launchpads of the same type at once on the same iPad ? There is that problem with duplicate USB device names. In my experience with having two Korg SQ-1 sequencers it depends very much on the app if duplicate devices show up as independent devices, only one is shown, or the whole thing ends in a mess.
The thread about OXI and Hapax sequencers made me think if something similar could be done by using two Launchpads (in my case that would mean getting a second Mini MK3) at once to create a combined 8x16 control surface. That would be in my budget range... Mozaic might be the way to go and I know carlos77 has created a whole bunch of excellent Launchpad sequencers that might be adapted / combined for that purpose.

There is a option in settings page to give each Launchpad a different ID 1-16 , but it comes down to if each software recognises this . Ableton on desktop does .
Ironically , Novation’s own Components editor doesn’t ! & you have to unplug one to not confuse it .
