How to use sample packs

I recently picked up a few sample packs from a Humble Bundle which comes with a lot of loops, one shots, MIDI, and stems. I mainly got it for one shot samples, but I’m curious how the stems are typically used. Are they usually chopped and remixed? Just played over top of?

    I usually just use sample packs for the oneshots myself, lol. Maybe a drum loop.

    Stems can be used in whichever way you wish to use them. No real "proper" singular way to use them. I personally don't use stems unless they are made by me.
