Can someone explain Pure Synth Platinum to me.

I Have NeoSoul and Blue Beast, I love them, they’re quite weighty though, Does PSP make those smaller (I know you have to purchase those again). Or is it you have them all under one roof with a thousand gigs of samples in it?

    Pure Synth Platinum seems to have all those sounds under one app, basically a rompler that also has a synth engine as well. Quite amazing. I'm sure someone else can explain it more succinctly than me, but PSP is one of my favourite romplers.

    Blue beast is 323 megabytes and its sample library is 30 a stated (in the App Store description) 30 GIGABYTES.
    Pure synth is 328 megabytes without its samples.

    Since the sample/synth engines (sample playback adsr etc) are relatively equivalent I would conclude that the only difference in savings, assuming the samples used in each instrument remains the same, would be the 320 or so megabytes of memory for each separate app. That and searching for and loading only one program by name.

    Also, IIRC, most of the IAPs support sample storage on external drives/sd cards etc. If storage is an issue, that is.
