It’s neat if you already use Splice I think.
Does it works on iOS ?
Reminds me of Arturia's Analog Lab, but worse.
Seems to be a bit of a trend, novation have just teamed up with klevgrand to make the play instrument for launchkey mk4s
Sure, look up “Splice Audio” in the App Store
@BlueGreenSpiral :?What’s so bad about analog lab?
I like Analog Lab quite a bit. I meant this looks sort of similar, but worse than Analog Lab.
It’s Spitfire LABs re-jigged and re-branded by splice.
Not quite the same as Analog Lab. which is a preset laden front end to all of Arturia’s VIs with minimal editing (but access to the full VI if you own it).
Spitfire LABS was (is) pretty great. Loads of quality free sample libraries. Which they then morphed into LABS+ with a subscription to include some of Spitfire’s commercial content.
Splice now own Spitfire so this new thing is their way to integrate instruments with spitfire content into the splice ecosystem which up to now has been loops not instruments.
Spitfire make some of the best Orchestral libraries there are.
This is more like Musio. Access to a load of sample libraries via subscription with an option to buy individual libraries or instruments.
@klownshed : The spitfire part doesn’t seem to be accessible on iOS . It isn’t via the splice app at least
Splice Instrument is a separate new app to the one for loops that's been around for a while.
