  • I already bought it, since I have all his other synths.
This one can make some really interesting and alive sounds very easily.
It can do so much else, but making dub step roars is almost too easy now :)

  • It's indeed fantastic. His best synth yet. Kult is good too.

  • Another one where you need to install an app to install the actual app, so fucking had it with these. No wonder piracy is blooming again (I saw a comment on that somewhere that it does, not sure it's true).

    Well, I'm sure it's a beauty.

  • The guy as a perfect name for creating his own DAW. The DAWesome.

  • On intro pricing till 26 October.

    Well, I'm sure it's a beauty.

I prefer having an app to install/update once a developer has more than a few apps. Keeping dozens of individual apps updated that don’t have their own app is even more annoying.

Not sure how needing a separate app makes anybody want to pirate. Especially as [k] software is so high risk these days. But I guess they know best. Who cares if a hacking crew installed a key logger? At least they get dozens for free plugins they’ll never learn how to use.

There are worse things in the world to worry about. Like actual piracy. And iLok.

In the meantime DAWsome are up there with the best. Kult is one of my favouritist synths — it’s perfect for destroying a song in risk of dying in a swamp of politeness with sheer grit and nastiness.

You can download individual installers for the VST, and not use Tracktion complete installer. I prefer standalone installers as well.

Ah, on his own website, thanks for the tip. Here's the link for anyone not wanting Tracktions download manager (which I could download without a manager). Kontrast

Sure, we're all different. Agree on iLok, they have no place on my drives. I do have Kult but haven't used it much, as with most on desktop.

  • Nice, have fun. Tracktion has standalone installers too but they are hidden behind the account login.

And they only work for software you've actually purchased - not for demos

  • sounds really good !
