DroneLab Pro update - Public beta

Hi everyone,

I’m back with an updated version of DroneLab Pro (dronelab.app). I really appreciate everyone’s testing and input last time. If you’d like to give it a try again, that would be great.

  • Improvements to sample loading, with smoother switching of presets and samples.
  • Improvements to performance in Logic Pro.
  • Factory presets now appear within lists in AUv3 host applications.
  • Three new sound effects: Train, Ocean Waves, and Sea Lions.
  • Updates for iPadOS 26

Presets are mostly compatible between the beta and the current version in the App Store, but if you use the new sound effects in a preset, it won't work at all in the previous version.

If you're running DroneLab Pro currently, there’s a chance that installing the beta might make you lose recordings or your custom presets, so make sure to keep copies of anything important.

The version number is 1.04, but for the final release it will probably be 1.5 or 2.0. I plan to add some additional presets before the final release.

    Any chance of the original DroneLab becoming auv3 compatible, or at least inter app audio? None of my devices can update enough to run your new one. You left us old tech folks in the dust haha
