looking for a saturator on iOS
is there anything as complexe as
https://klanghelm.com/contents/products/SDRR.html
?!!?
if answer is no,
whats your fav saturator on iOS
and why...?!
if yes, where I can get it
because I couldn't find one
remotely as complexe and good sounding as SDRR...
thnx.

I haven't dug into Saturn extensively (subtle and sparing is how I tend to use this type of effect) but FF plugins all have plenty of depth, quality, and character:

Byod can get pretty complex, up to the user:)
thanks Loups
I tried Saturn 2 on desktop
and while is good and deep
is not really as good as SDRR for what I want to achieve.
Saturn is mostly an fx to fx sound
not something that I would use to make sound more alive
and sparkling when performing live.

thank you reminding me of that one:))))
.
NAM XT with various free outboard captures from the Tonehunt site is pretty good. There's a bunch of 1073's, some Rockmans, some pushed tapes. I also like the soft clip in Rob's Levlr2.
You should try Saturn with some of BManic's presets... https://gearspace.com/board/showpost.php?p=14762470&postcount=157 he's using the envelope followers to add subtle movement and stuff. Any of the included presets with BM on the title are worth trying too.
thank Edhombre!
really good points.
can you link to the Tonehunt captures you talk about pls!?
its hard to navigate that site...
esp I can't find "Rob's Levlr2"
big thnx again!!!!

Levlr2 is a Rob Jackson app.
I know my way around tonehunt and I STILL get lost haha. That place is a timesuck in the best of ways. Good luck!

BLEASS Saturator is well worth exploring

Been using iZotope Trash on desktop since a long while and when Drambo became available, I made Graphic Shaper curves from my most favorite Trash saturator curves. Not so much into saturation anymore but we do have plenty of choice on iOS today.
iZotope Trash is sluggish on iOS
it was updated on desktop and now is good
but not on iOS ...:(
Had no idea Trash was on iOS, thanks for the heads up! (Doesn’t seem sluggish on my older iPad Pro 🤷🏻♂️)

Filtered models by outboard and then ordered by most downloaded. The Neve Silks (sometimes called blue and red) are pretty lovely...
Also worth checking out is the free 1176 captures for GuitarML from here (you can use in BYOD) - https://chamber93grit.gumroad.com/ love it on things like eps etc
I wonder @waka_x , have you given FAC Bandit a shot yet? But yeah, BYOD is also amazing.
