Mansion on The Hill (Inktense on paper)
Started this on poor paper quality but got carried away when things started to grow. More than 100 hours later and here we are. Photo is also pretty bad, sorry about that. Anyway, I think I found something I wanna do more of, on better material from start. I hope you can take some time and get carried away. Edit: forgot to mention size: it's an A3 (297 x 420mm)

@Pxlhg that's great man, you're very talented for sure
This is absolutely gorgeous, but I got ask is the moon lying still pencils?Watercolor? Crayons?
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the feedback, there's only two people who seen it in real life so, I need it. 😊
Thanks man, it's in the title = Inktense, it's sort of hybrid of watercolour and ink and they are made by Derwent. The link goes to pencils but you can get them as blocks ala pastels as well (I use both). They are very special and it have taken me a while to learn but now I absolutely love them.
Lovely work, and those pencils sound fun, might get some for the non digital studio🙏
@Pxlhg thats freaking awesome man!
Love all the details, great dedication for A3!
Keep us posted on the next project!
this is fantastic!
That is such a cool, trippy piece.
I love it. Well made. Keep up the great work!
I like it too - 👍 amazing - very well done.
Is there a name for this type of art?
What do you do? Do you doodle & colour as you go or do you draw the whole thing first then do the colouring?
Thank you! Do check some youtube videos first (their are some but not plenty) so you get an idea of their pros and cons, one con is they're not cheap. I would have bought more if it wasn't for the price.
@id_23 @sevenape @jwmmakerofmusic
Thank you so much!
Thank you, I would guess some sort of surrealism but I dunno. I start with various techniques, like adding a lot of colour and then use e.g crumpled paper or plastic to get a start structure/texture and then try to find things. No pre plan or doodle
This is RAD!! Reminds me of those “find 100 Grateful Dead songs” tapestries I used to buy at parking lots before the concert. Went to a Phish show recently and there are still folks keeping Shakedown Street going haha.
It really is so good. Would have been a perfect album cover for some of those 70s prog bands like Caravan
Of course. Will check out some vids.
Love it bro! Fantastic piece of art!
Excellent work @Pxlhg , full of interest the closer you look 🙏
@Squishy @Edward_Alexander @GeoTony
You really make my day, thank you! 😊
Ahhh @Gavinski the golf girl is my fave off that super album!
