Calling AUM Expert(s) - Is it possible to switch between saved sessions / state remotely using MIDI?
Hi Folks,
I'm a casual AUM user at best, and I'm currently working on a project where a nice to have feature would be, as the title says...
The ability to remotely switch between saved sessions / state via MIDI.
Just a simple next / previous via CC would be ideal.
Anyone know if that can be done?
Alternatively, I'm not aware of a scene or snapshot type feature, but like I say, I'm very much scratching the surface in terms of what AUM can (and can't) do.
Any help / tips and tricks, much appreciated!

Look under MIDI Control > Session Load in the settings menu. You can add sessions there, then map midi messages to load them. Unfortunately there isn't any load next / load previous action.

I think I might be able to configure my MIDI Captain controller to cycle through a series of MIDI messages from a single switch, so potentially a winning combo!
Loopy Pro has Next and Previous session load, and features smooth session transitions and options such as preserving effect tails, and optional copying levels of the previous mixer.
