What device?
It's working for me on iPhone 12. I'm not updating the iPad yet so I can't test there.
Can you see if changing the aspect ratio of the project makes a difference. There have been sporadic unreproducible reports of the window being drawn as black that seems connected to certain window sizes on certain devices.
What do you mean by "change the aspect ratio of the project"?
The number of columns and rows if you are using fullscreen. Otherwise, you can try re-sizing the window.
ok. I'll try as many projects at different aspect ratios as I can to see if I can find one that doesn't work.
Re-sizing the window isn't applicable to full-screen in AUM.
I understand. That is why I mentioned changing the aspect ratio by editing the project.
Michael and I have seen the black screen problem but have not been able to reproduce it. Some people run into the problem with some regularity…but most never have the problem
iPad Air m1. Changing the number of columns and rows doesn’t help.
Is the rest of the AUM project fairly heavily loaded?
Does this only happen in the full-screen mode?
Btw,when you add columns and/or rows you need to put some widgets there or resize things to make use of the added space as loopy ignores blank space,

Yes, it happens all the time both in fullscreen and maximized mode.
The more information we have about the rest of the AUM session the better. Does it happen in a session where Loopy Pro is the only plugin loaded? Are you using Loopy as an FX? Are you using multi in/out Loopy?
One funny thing about the 10.9 and 11" iPads is that their screens are slightly "wider" than the others. The traditional smaller iPads, and the larger ones, have stuck to the original 4:3 (1.333) aspect ratio. But the 10.9" screens, which include the iPad Air M1, are 1640x2360 pixels, ratio 1.439. This could cause problems if apps are not alert to this.
