Love it! I wish I had done that!

Do you mean you wish you had made a deal the devil?

Both! Written this track and a deal with the devil. (I'm off to the crossroad.)

When you meet with the devil, send him my best regards, he'll probably remember me 😉

We met, and a pact with the Devil for profound musical knowledge and ability is one soul/month - I'll give it a miss, I don't do subscriptions.
(The Devil sends you a reminder: Your payment is overdue!)

Luckily for me, I don't believe in all those superstitions / dogmatic religions nor the existence of a matter-transcending-soul. There is only soul music 😉

It’s bad luck to be superstitious.

The title of the song aligns perfectly with the mood. There’s so much energy in this guitar, and after the break, it launches you right into the unknown. I don’t know anyone in this little community who can compress this much ‘force’ into a piece while still being groovy and listenable. 🤩

Thank you for listening @Luxthor, and for your kind words and encouragements over the last few years ❤️!

  • What a mashup of styles but my god you make it work. Love it

  • Ahh very cool, I get some nice KMFDM vibes!

Hmmm, good question. They do dabble in somewhat of a range (industrial, blues, even dub reggae etc) over time and off the top of my head I can't think of a specific track swimming the same waters as your own, but they are there to an extent. I'd say something new from 'HYËNA' or 'LET GO' (past five years) or something older from 1995 'Nihil'

  • The range of your musical interests never ceases to inspire me to take more risks and eschew surface gloss for something decidedly human. Top marks for creative output.

When checking their discography, I was drawn to 'Nihil' just for its title ! Will probably start from there then ! Thank you !

  • An overdue appreciation of what you have created here @JanKun. Have been very pleased to see the buzz it has created and the deserved comments you have attracted. Great to hear you shredding over such a detailed and heavy backdrop.

  • Good magic. 'Sinners' is an excellent call.

Thank you for listening and dropping by, Andy!
I completely lost interest in shredding for years, if not decades but over the last year or so, I have been exploring new musical genres and guitar solos sometimes fit the style. This long shredding break i took plus the diversity of genre I explored over the years brought new melodic ideas for my playing. I might shred a bit more from now on, it is actually fun!
I understood that you were planning to build something on one of @pbelgium loops? Have you completed it?

    Look forward to that.

Yes, thanks for asking. I completed ‘Triple Point’ a week or so back. A mix of styles with a contrasting vibe to your take.
