horror soundtrack - lumafusion video

was noodling on my piano and came up with an idea for a spooky tune that gave me film vibes, so went online and found some copyright free footage and put together a quick video with my limited editing skills.

hope it's enjoyed.

  • Creepy and creative, but maybe you should have waited until Halloween?

  • Nice work, music would have worked by itself but with the video it was even better 👍

  • Oh that's super fun!

Wasn't ready for the tonal shift and it was (wonderfully) startling

Left me with the impression of cross between sinister and (og) nosforatu

I know less about video editing, but is there a needlepoint equivalent for filmgrain?

Hmm speaking of which, are there plugins for lumafusion that can mimic super8 or reel-to-reel video fidelity/decay?

I know how it's done audio wise, and I overuse it on literally everything, so just to lock into my video toolbox for a later date 😁

  • What an awesome listen and watch! :) Perfect for this time of year. Well done.

hey, don't know much about film editing. I have had lumafusion for a few years and have used it for every video I have done, but most are 1 fixed camera with minimal cuts, etc. lumafusion has different film types and fx, not sure about grainy lo fi reacting stuff, I just used the stock one in the YouTube upload to add some Of that. the other fx that you see, cutting in and out are done in lumafusion. basically you can cut any piece and render it with a different film or lighting, add some movement within it from 1 value to another, tons of things.
