I posted this in the desktop deals thread, but you can get amplitube 5 at plugin boutique for 29.99, and you’ll be able to get anything in the group buy that is $199 or less, so you can get tonex and all of the collections for free. And you’ll be able to add the amplitube clections, t-racks pro and all of the rest of the t-racks, and probably still have more slots to use.

Thanks, did this yesterday! Amazing! One user told me that ToneX is only working on desktop and not on IOS with the same license... hadn't time to try it out.... but nevertheless absolutely cracy deal! I am installing tons of plugins at the moment on my Mac.
So far, I only tried with tonex se, ans not the collections, I got in this group buy, but se certainly works on iOS, and I see no reason why the collections shouldn't.
I'm pretty sure the Signature collections don't work on iOS.
I don't see any of the signature collection stuff I have in Tonex on my iPhone.
I do get quite a few Tone models which I think are part of standard TONEX on Mac and they port when you register the app. I'm not sure how many tone models there are in the basic free version of TONEX on iOS?

I couldn't manage to activate them so far, though. But when I'm in the standalone and try to access my account, it just says Updating forever. I think their website is pretty slow at the moment, so I have a bit of hope, that Might succeed, when there's less traffic.
I got one step further, in Tonex standalone, if you hit the burger menu, then account, it tells me, my app is already registered, and if I own a product serial number, I can register it there. I entered one, but then got an error, I suspect, because their servers are busy because thousands of people register 50 products each at the same time... Still hopeful.
Holy shit guys, tried it and the tonex SE works indeed on both platforms: MAC and IOS. The only thing I did is to log into my account on IOS.

One question: do I have to choose all of the 50 plugins BEFORE 31th of October or is it still valid after that?
My signature collection tones finally turned up in the iOS app. Before (over the last 3 weeks or so) if I hit ‘restore purchases’ it would say all my purchases had been successfully restored and I got all the tones from the standard version of TONEX. But no sig collections.
I tried it multiple times and the same thing happened.
On a whim I tried it once more today and it took about 20 minutes with a green progress bar slowly (very slowly) inching across the screen. Then it failed. I tried a couple more times and finally got the same ‘your purchases have been successfully resided’ message as before but this time it finally works and I now have all the signature collections on my phone.
Which is very cool as I want to use the iPhone as an amp sim for my guitar again.
IK make some great software, but it’s often let down with lazy coding — such as an alert saying things worked when they didn’t or general instability.
Anyway. It was way more hassle than it should have been but it’s all good now :-)

Yes, me too. Would be cool to be able to use amplitude chains with one or more tonex's in there on iOS. I guess I 'll use tonestack in front of it instead.
So, it took about an hour to restore my purchases in Tonex but it worked, I suspect it downloaded the tone models in that time and maybe the group buy is still taking a lot of their bandwidth. I was pondering cancelling, because nothing seemed to happen, but patience paid off:)
For anyone wondering about purchases on iOS and Mac or PC and if the purchase carries over, the question is answered on the FAQ on IK Support. The answer is no. If that has changed and they just didn't update the FAQ, that would be great, but seems unlikely.

I haven't checked in detail, what when it comes to Tonex carries over, but I have around 1000 tone models (standard is 400 if I 'm not mistaken). The link @EdZAB posted does not mention tonex at all and I suspect it's older than Tonex. But if you have stuff on desktop and don't want to try and see, if it carries over, go ahead.
SampleTank stopped working on iPad ever since the first iPadOS18 update, IK Multimedia swear there is nothing wrong, but their own forum is full of complaints about ST no longer working, but it still works on the iPad Mini - which I don’t have.

They didn’t mention Mac to PC and vice versa, just transfers between desktop and iOS. I assume that once you install their IK Manager app it’ll load whatever version it was installed on.
