Fantastic 👍
Thanks so much for the feedback and support of our plans, we appreciate it. Transit 2 should be out sometime next week. We'll check in when we have a final release date!
Soo excited 😱
Sounds good @BabyAudio Will it have the snap to zero feature?
Do You mean like the transition knob should have a spring that pulls it back to zero when released?
Yes - as an option. A bit like in Turnado.
Gotcha! That’s really up to @BabyAudio to add or not.
Yes 😃 - that’s why I was asking them. It had been a request that was considered for the original but ultimately never added.
Could you connect a ramp or peak lfo to the knob parameter? Is that the same function you’re looking for?
I’m not sure what you are meaning. It sounds like it would be a bit impractical for live use. What I am looking for is that - you turn the wheel to introduce the effect, then instead of having to dial it back round (albeit there are plenty of occasions where this is the desired way to make the transition) when you take your finger off it then snaps back to zero. So you start with no effect, you turn the wheel - it gets more muddled and whirly and all the rest of it, when you choose you take off your finger then ‘snap’ it returns to zero immediately and all the effects are gone…. then your next track immediately kicks in - clean as a whistle.
I follow what you’re sayin. And ya, you’d have to get creative with the lfo shape to get exactly what your looking for (ramp speed, hold time, etc). While doable it sure ain’t as simple as your suggesting and wouldnt suit live performance all that well. So ya, I’m on board now! Spring feature please, sounds neat and super helpful 👍
If you have Drambo, you could map one axis of an xy-pad to the big knob and activate Snap (or spring? not sure) and have it this way.
Was thinking the same with a Loopy Pro widget!
Snap to zero is unlikely to make it into the initial iOS version, but it's on our dev board for future Transit updates in general. In the meantime the Gate mode is most similar to what you're looking for
@tristan great news on the release of iOS v2. Counting down the days!
@robosardine you could also use LK controller for this, snap can be enabled.
version 1 was cool. but version 2 look really cool. pumped for this one.
Please make that an option if so - need to be able to set it somewhere in the middle and have it stay there.
Want!
Thanks everyone - I’ll wait patiently on its arrival. I’m pretty well hopeless at connecting things up apart from the bread and butter stuff. It’s on its way so that’s all good.
In my opinion, Transit 2 is Baby Audio's star app. Of course, using it on transits is what it's made for, but it can clearly do so many neat things!
I know I'm going to love this one!
@tristan
I’ve been enjoying trying out Transit 2 in Live (via the desktop demo). Overall, this is a really good multi-fx unit which can do bread and butter sounds as well as more outlandish things.
A couple of wishes:
Questions
1. Why is it that left clicking the randomise button only picks random modules in the bottom row, and randomises only the parameters of any effects in the top row? But right clicking the randomise button picks random modules in all slots?
2. Why do certain modules rarely, if ever, appear e.g Loop or Reverser, when randomising?
Look forward to the iOS version.
Transit is my most used plugin by far - every project has at least two instances, often way more, and sometimes multiple on the same bus. If i ever just need a gain adjustment it’s much more sensible to use Transit because, you know, later on you might think actually that would sound really nice with a little high pass too, and maybe some spreading delays etc.
I like the way you think, will keep this in mind when 2 drops (don’t own 1). Thanks!
Hey everyone,
We have a release date! Transit 2 will be out this Friday (November 7th).
We will launch it at a $9.99 intro sale (regular price: $29.99) lasting for 30 days.
This is really an upgrade path for existing Transit 1 owners that everyone is able to take part in. (As mentioned in the original post we can't make upgrade paths easily via App Store Connect).
Super excited to get your feedback!
Can’t wait! Thanks for the info 🤙
Save me one! At intro price it’s a steal. Looking forward for early xmas
Woohoo! I'm a big fan.
Oh man, just a few days away?!
Definitely not me getting giddy af right now
Thanks for the amazing intro offer!! Can't wait to finally get a taste of this bad boy for myself
