Is LP Mac Version close to a Beta yet?

In Michael's awesome interview he mentions LP Mac is being used 'out there live'. Are we anywhere close to a beta then?

"Don't let perfect be the enemy of good" . I'm sure the app is already well past 'good' and into 'great' ...

    As Michael said, we aren’t making predictions about the release timeline. He is hard at work on it.
