We need an ANALOGyBass real bad.

Hmm. Interesting. Make it like the Novation Bass Station synth and I'm there.

YESSSS! I’m slowly learning that these Rob apps fit into the “things I like and want to share with others” type apps. The amp, the delays, synths, etc.; all things that in a sense already exist on iOS but not to the degree that fits his own taste, at least not immediately. So yea, would love to have a Rob Bass addition to the collection 🤘

    ANALOGyBSS

Ok rob, concept and name are out of the way. Now you can relax and take care of the easier stuff

    “ANALOGyB”, maybe?

  • @Edhombre glad you like it. It’s my all time favorite (desert island type deal) plug-in I have ever owned, it’s so good and @quantovox is such a dope human bean. Its pricing always blows my mind- it’s a top tier plugin and it’s under 5 bucks- luckily this makes it more accessible and everyone seems to dig it. @wim like what type? I started using X1 as a lil bass synth, are you talking like Madrid, or Acid Bass or the groovy 70’s theme that kinds eeks out of Analogy? I get Pink Floyd/doors vibes from his stuff which is always great.

  • What would adding 16 instances of ANALOGyDR be like CPU/RAM wise ?
From what I've read, @Rob_Jackson_Music 's apps are efficient but I'm using a relatively old ipad so I'm curious. Any thoughts ? Thx

On page 1 I posted a screenshot of my Analogy routing- that session was sitting around 40 dsp on a 9th gen IPad.

  • Also depends what sequencer you use also- I find Euclidean to work the best, but PolyBud is great, and Binarythmic is pretty low dsp. I tend to use @cem_olcay apps for most of my stuff, but 4 pockets Euclidean works great too.

Just loaded up 8 instances in OCTACHRON and it's steady at 21% Pretty impressive.

I plan to use it with the simple midi clips of loopy because workflow & less process. At the beginning I was looking for an all in one drum machine but it's come to my realisation that I like switching AUs for each parts, like kick, snare, percs...
From your readings it seems good, anyway it's so cheap I can try for myself.
