Richard Yot - The Feeling (JWM Remix) (Vocal Trance done in FL Studio Mobile)
When I heard @richardyot 's new album on a long walk...
...I loved every minute of it and still do. Best Shoegaze music I've heard in a while. My favourite track so happens to be "The Feeling", and I knew then and there I wanted to remix the track in a Vocal Trance style similar to Paul Van Dyk!
So I ditched Auxy Studio for this effort and went full to a full-on production in FL Studio Mobile. I did this all on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, because I really wanted to work on the track while feeling the uplifting vibes at my local café. 😂
The only stems of the original song I used were the vocals and most of the guitars. I mastered the final results in Cubasis 3.
Richard, thank you for allowing me to remix this masterpiece. I hope everyone here enjoys my version and will give your album a listen, a second listen, or even yet a tenth listen through. ❤️🙏

Thanks for posting this, I enjoyed listening to this version, it’s very interesting hearing the vocals in this new arrangement with such a different vibe.
I’m glad you enjoyed remixing it, and that the track was inspiring enough for you to want to work on it.
I like it when remixes change the style and feel of a song, and this one definitely succeeds in doing that!
Sounds like you had a lot of fun making this remix Jim :-)
Unbelievably incredible !!!
Exactly.
When I listened to "The Feeling" for the second or third time when binging your album, I heard exactly this idea in my head.
Thank you for humouring me.
That means a lot to me, mate.
Thanks so kindly!
I did. It was amazing to work on this remix. ❤️
You're too kind, mate.
Then again, the source material was unbelievably incredible! ❤️ I simply wanted to place my own spin on it.
Sounds incredible and that kick drum : GAWD!!
Is there no mastering capability in FL Studio mobile though?
👍
Wonder how FL Studio would team up with GRII.
I have GR II but not FL Studio
You two sound ready for Eurovision! 👍
I've used FLSM to master my tracks during the summer prior to me going back into Auxy Studio, but I prefer the tighter sound I can get when mastering in Cubasis 3 using Bark Filter and Cubasis' Limiter. It's a bit more fitting for EDM.
The kickdrum comes from the Leviathan IV sound pack.

The whole anthology is on sale for 50 quid. I wouldn't pass it up if making EDM.
🍻
I'm not sure it'd all fit together (at least for my own workflow). I love GR-II, and I also love FLSM, but I use both separately.
Ha! Man, that'd be something. Cheers mate.
Would love to hear more like this Jim. Very cool!
Thanks so kindly mate.
I believe @richardyot and I could put our heads together again for another collab, or maybe if you wanna collab, we could do that. I'm always open for a good collab.
Although I will say right now, I'm thinking of taking a short break from creating music. I released a lot of music in October (some more fleshed out than others), and I put more effort into the last three releases ("2025", my remix above, and "Deadline" with my girlfriend).
But I'm not burned out creatively. I'm still working on doing fun little drawings for myself, and I'm figuring out which direction to take my music next. I may do what I did last November and try more Jean-Michel Jarre-styled music. This time it won't be in Nanostudio 2 but most likely either in Cubasis or FLSM. We shall see. Or I may go back to Auxy Studio for a couple more tracks as that's a lot of fun to pump out tracks with in short time.
