    I believe they got permission to use one of his algorhythms, but I'm not sure which reverb it was on, and if I'm remembering correctly.

    Yes it was probably me 😄 some of the EOS 2 algorithms are written by Sean Costello (Valhalla DSP). It definitely has a similar sound signature like the Valhalla verbs but its decay time is not the longest unfortunately. So not perfect for ambient. But still my favourite on iPad.

    100%! I asked Sean multiple times on SM to look into releasing for iPad throughout the years. But he didn’t show much interest. He doesn’t like to be dependent on the App Store.

    When I want a longer decay out of a reverb I’ll add either Sploshbox or Cascade and adjust to taste. It is a nice way to extending decays. Both have a Freeze option too. I’m sure there’s some issue with it but for my creations and ears it sounds good to me

    Interesting! I also thought of stacking EOS2 before haha
    Maybe if the second EOS instance is delayed by 3/4 of the first decay time and softer in volume. Should theoretically work in my books 😄 but sounds like a bit of a mess.

    Yep same here.

    A Valhalla reverb is one of the last items on my list to remain unchecked.

    Maybe there will be a proper app side loading one day.
    Or more people will have to bother Sean 🙃

    First he would need to discover the fun of iOS development and being an App Store developer. Could that be holding him back?
