Issues with Airstep Lite and Loopy Pro
I'm new with Loopy Pro (one month of intense learning) and new here in this forum.
I cannot properly connect my Airstep Lite with Loopy Pro. Midi Learn recognizes the CC signals from Airstep, however, mostly it registers a "Hold" command instead of a simple "On". Sometimes it's registered as a "Double Tap". Sometimes, the first trial after switching the Airstep on is correct, however, while playing later it doesn't work anymore because it receives then double taps or hold signals.
The whole thing feels like a sort of a midi "echo". Meanwhile, I have switched off the Bluetooth mode of all other devices (other iPads, iPhone, etc.), but I cannot fix the problem.
The Airstep settings are correct and the device works correctly with other apps (and I can see the correct messages via the show midi app). I've bought a second hand iRig Blue Board which works properly with Loopy Pro. There is one obvious difference between these two devices. Airstep connects automatically with Loopy Pro while iRig always needs to be connected manually in Loopy Pro.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance
Guille

Hi. What messages does the Airstep Lite send?
See:
https://wiki.loopypro.com/Footswitches#Full_Momentary_Setup
Use a midi monitor as described in the article to see what your pedal sends. If it doesn’t have full momentary operation, you will have to manually change the trigger to ON from hold.
Thanks a lot to both of you! That was it, I was not aware of the required release message. Problem fixed ... Guille happy :-)
