They are very similar, and in discussions I’ve seen (some heated lol) the difference comes down to which one you feel sounds more like the original hardware. Pretty sure there’s “shootout”/comparison videos on YouTube.
Zodiak has a fewwww more features than OS does, but for the average user these are pretty negligible. I think the preamp of the Zodiak sounds more like the OG 201, so I lean towards that camp

I like the sound of Zodiak Echo more, I've no idea which is closer to the original, nor do I really care tbh! Zodiak Echo seems capable of a wider sound, is one of the main differences I noticed.
I'll "echo" this sentiment. They're both really great, but the Zodiak has more of an organic/earthy tone to it. That amp on the Zodaik has a nice amount of pleasing grit to it.

It was up a day or 2 ago. It was priced at $59.99, but then discounted to $49.99.
Update - this is still up on the US App Store however it was as low as $24 this past summer.
There is also a free version with IAPs if you wanted to try before you buy.

Really nice sounding acid bassline synth. Pure Acid is my go-to, but TV-3 is a worthy contender and a steal at $1.99.
I prefer TV-3. The cracked out dude responding to adjustments makes me want to play more.
The visuals are a plus
I do think the distortion sounds better on TV-3. The sequencer and effects are better in PA.
