How many years has it been? 😂
Looks cool, but I swear by Koala Sampler.
Is it AU3 or which connectivity?
@anickt
Space/Time is a janky grift (as are some apps)
@jwmmakerofmusic
Agreed, Koala for the win unless you are looking for (very) old school workflow, including on-purpose-lo-fi
@dblonde stand alone, connects to the outside world to the extent that it imports samples, exports stems, accommodates MIDI in.
Something I'd love to try, but for 20 quid? I'm not so certain.
there is a functional web demo on the site https://low-hiss.com/
but yeah, $20
Online help screens? Instabuy
Cool on the web demo! Jolly well could change my mind a little. $20 isn't too steep an asking price for what it is, but I still prefer my Koala Sampler. The buss mixer has an internal effect to reduce sample rate and bit depth (which in theory can replicate that Akai sample degradation when applied subtly), so I could slap that on the drums in Koala and call it a day. 😂
For modern workflow and features Koala is arguably the best sampler on the platform. When the synth was added I plotzed.
I’d prefer to see the release of the RX1200 !
Stem separation is still not as good as Logic Pro 4 iPad tho
True, but we're comparing eSPI to Koala, not Koala to Logic Pro in this instance.
Good to know. I haven’t tried it, you saved me some disappointment
I'd pose the argument that Koala's stem separation is decent enough, but as Telstar pointed out, Logic's is superior.
I wonder if we are talking about 2 different features? eSPi exports stems from your project. Doesn’t stem separation mean taking a track apart (imported I think) for use in a project?
eSPi doesn’t do this.
I think you’re right @Littlewoodg
However, while the app seems to be a lot better now, it’s taken so long to germinate I am no longer drawn to the workflow. Oh well! 😎✌🏼
Not too sure about the workflow myself. I do find it less frustrating than before!
Another big update coming plus a controller

Wow, is that a tracker as in Tracker? And wow as in wow.
@Littlewoodg Yer fun adding a tracker to it. Have you tried the DH Noise Tracker app yet that’s pretty good
We'll see!
Just now delving in. Fun. Pretty deep…
New Trackers are popping up on iOS I’m glad to see. I like Naive Tracker too.
Trackers forever
