The buss mixer has an internal effect to reduce sample rate and bit depth (which in theory can replicate that Akai sample degradation when applied subtly), so I could slap that on the drums in Koala and call it a day. 😂

    True, but we're comparing eSPI to Koala, not Koala to Logic Pro in this instance. :)

    I'd pose the argument that Koala's stem separation is decent enough, but as Telstar pointed out, Logic's is superior.

    I wonder if we are talking about 2 different features? eSPi exports stems from your project. Doesn’t stem separation mean taking a track apart (imported I think) for use in a project?
    eSPi doesn’t do this.

    However, while the app seems to be a lot better now, it’s taken so long to germinate I am no longer drawn to the workflow. Oh well! 😎✌🏼

    Not too sure about the workflow myself. I do find it less frustrating than before!
