Sweet! Love his apps!
Quanta 2 vibes, neat! Can’t wait
Oh nice one
Some kind of sample granularizer or what? I can't figure it out.
Delicious 😍
Sweet.
Looks interesting ... yes it does have Quanta 2 vibes. Wondering what unique angle it takes on granular.

Excited!
I am absolutely loving that background animation. Its hypnotizing
Almost looks like old-school Sierra FMV of a ghostly femine figure in a white dress, framed shoulders down, spinning
Sounds dope as hell too... But that animation fking got me
Hey folks - just wanted to pop in here and say that the desktop version of Outgrowth is out now and the iOS version is coming soon
The iOS version just needs a little bit more time to complete since there are platform-specific quirks with loading files, drag and drop, and resizable windows. Finishing the iOS version is my #1 priority now and I'm hoping to get it done very soon! It's hard to set a date right now, though - probably don't want it to coincide with Christmas/New Years too much.
You can check out the video manual now if you want:

Looks fabulous love these style make your own instrument apps. Well done another winner.
thanks so much! Can't wait to get the iOS version completed and get it out there
I’m looking forward to it, have been since the hints dropped. I hope this world is treating you well, you’ve got some good ideas.
Thanks so much! And I can't complain - I feel very fortunate that I get to build these things
I too really enjoy Adam's apps. They are great and unique ideas, that allow for a lot of "hands off the handlebars" fun.
This will be a day one download.
@aqeelaadam great work , I’m very interested in this .
Would the Retrigger option not be better as saved within each preset though ?
I can see myself wanting it on for some presets & others not .
Good call - honestly, that was probably something that I meant to do, but slipped through the cracks!
@aqeelaadam:
sounds/looks great!
any aprox release date on iOS?
still in December?
and one more question:
can it sound harsher/glitchy/grainy?
all demos I've heard sound smooth and ambienty and timestretchy with a filter on top
sort of samey...
thnx
The iOS date is a bit hard to firmly set to be honest (sorry!) since we're getting kind of close to Christmas/New Years. There's not a lot of work to do but we're going to be a bit at the mercy of how fast I can get it done, how fast Apple approves it, and whether we're getting too close to Christmas.
It can definitely sound harsher, with a number of features that I'm planning to show on my YouTube channel over the next few weeks, namely:
If you're on Instagram, my friend Ian did some demos which include it getting pretty nasty: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DRsb_VoEiEM/
@aqeelaadam Like your other apps, you seem to have a knack of finding fresh and innovative ways to approach familiar things like granular, samples, sequencing etc. looking forward to this! Ive been enjoying Ridgewalk’s unique take on granular/buffer type effects.
Thanks so much! Outgrowth's Retain engine is actually basically running a mini version of Ridgewalk
But yeah, I think it's important as a dev not to just shout into the wind and do something that's been done before, just for the sake of doing something. So I'm always trying to think of new ways to approach these concepts so that someone isn't buying something just to add it to a growing pile of unused tools.
Really excited for this. I know it’s a pipe dream but how sick would this be as hardware? Ahh…
I like the background graphics. Can they be changed?
I think there's a Setting to turn it off, if I remember from the Manual video.
The graphics change a bit based on the engine that you're in and your performance. You can disable the animation though to save CPU if needed.
Hardware would be fun, but there's some very cool stuff in hardware already and I'd like to support the folks that might not be able to afford the big guns. I'm also definitely not envying the global market for hardware right now with tariffs, etc.!
I mean, there’s no way I’d be able to afford the hardware myself. That’s part of the dream 😂
Anyway, can’t wait for this instrument, it really seems unique and fun.
I uploaded Outgrowth for App Store review on Saturday. They typically have a holiday crunch but here's hoping that it'll sail through review!
Really excited about this one @aqeelaadam keep up the great work.
@aqeelaadam
great news!:) hope the birth won't get complicated:)
and the introductory price on iOS will be...?
thnx
