iOS "Split View" question please...
Can Loopy use the iOS split view function to make it easier to drag and drop into a project? I cannot find a way to implement it.

Sure, it works with both split mode and popover. The way of using it is standard (on iPadOS 18 at least). What problem are you having? I'm not sure how to answer. On iPadOS 18 you just tap the three dots at the top of the middle of the screen, then select the files app or whatever. I think it might be different in iPadOS 26, and may have disappeared earlier, then reappeared in a recent update?
Drag and drop works great in Loopy Pro. Hint: if you fill up a page with empty loops, you can select a whole bunch of files at once and drag them to the first loop. Loopy will add as many of the files as there are empty loops to hold them. Works for both audio and midi clips.
thanks, but I do not have the three dots at the top of LP (as would be the usual case on iPad) hence the question. Now you have said it does work, I am scratching my head even more haha! I am running 18.7.1
Huh. I can't imagine why you're not seeing the three dots. Maybe try restarting your iPad? If you figure out why they're not there, let me know. I'd love to be able to hide them sometimes.

Yeah I figured it, haha....had Split View and slide over off (in Settings, Multitasking and Gestures) for some reason I cannot recall
now I've got the drag and drop working, when I drag and drop the audio file and press play, I get no audio? It (audio out) is working as I have an AUv3 instrument playing
please make a screen recording showing the whole process and post a link to it.
As I cannot upload small videos to this forum, (and I'm not going to go and join some online hosting site JUST for this)....I'll figure it eventually. Thanks anyway

If you have google drive or the like, you could use that. Much of the time, a short video will let us instantly see you need to do and can save much wasted time.
You could try posting screenshots showing the state of the project.

What was the issue?
Simply need to tap the disc with the imported audio track to highlight it and then it played fine
