Issue with instances of Koala crashing in logic
I have experienced this several times whilst working with koala within logic. A few instances of koala are running fine on the track, but the instance of koala featuring the main sample keeps randomly crashing.

When it eventually reloads, all my work is gone from the sampler..
I have included a screenshot of the error message.
Has anyone else experienced this? I’m currently updating to 26.1, hoping this won’t keep happening.

The update didn’t solve the issue unfortunately. How does Cubasis handle AUv3s?

Also, try changing the sample rate and/or length of the problematic sample, buffer settings in Logic Pro for Ipad.
@Zerafia : Thanks for the heads up
I can’t figure out if it’s a Koala issue, a logic issue, or a me-being-retarded issue.😅
I spoke to Marek from Elf Audio, and he suggested it could be the large sample I was using. I truncated everything and made sure the buffer size was correct, which temporarily solved the issue. It’s confusing though, as this would suggest I was using too much RAM, which wasn’t the case. (M1 pro 12.9)
Then it started crashing again.. I think the song is cursed, as all my other Koala projects are fine. This one was just too funky for the beat gods..
Just want to mention that an AUv3 plugin is limited to a certain total amount of RAM for all instances. The allowance varies with different devices, but is around 400 MB. Having a device with a huge amount of RAM does not alter this limitation. So you may want to examine the memory requirements of all the Koala instances together.
Good point.. Apple should really allow for more RAM to be accessed.
