MIDI automation with Notes and CC or PC bugs?

When recording MIDI automation from a Color with both Notes and CC or PC simultaneously, copying, deleting, moving or even changing the Note length in the piano-roll editor also moves or deletes the CC or PC data all together, even if they are mapped on different MIDI channels. Is this a known bug? I have the latest ‘paid’ upgrade version.




After further investigation, if shortening the note length make the PC automation go away, they return when extending that same note again:

    Nice catch. It's surprising it hasn't been noted before now.

    I record non-note midi to a separate clip when I can. That's not always easy when it's all coming from the same source simultaneously though. If notes and data are on separate midi channels then it's easier. Simultaneous recording must be on in Loopy settings.

    My version at the time of this post was 2.0.4 (707) and I updated to version 2.0.5 (725) in the AppStore but has the same problems.

    The issue was unknown to us and has probably been there the whole time. I’ve brought it to Michael’s attention.

    I believe Michael said this bug is fixed in the next release but LP is not updated yet in the AppStore as of today, what gives?

    We are working on an update that addresses a number of issues including this one but it isn’t yet ready for release.
