Pure Synth Platinum "Creatmosphere" expansion issue

Running Pure Synth Platinum in Loopy Pro on iPad.

Purchased Creatmosphere expansion in Pure Synth Platinum standalone and downloaded/installed it both there and as plugin in LP.
Trying to use in LP, but the presets all still show the "Download Needed" button and when I click on that I see a modal dialog that says "MISSING SAMPLES" and list of items...I've tried removing that download and re-installing multiple times, tried the repair button. tried restarting iPad...Anyone seen similar and have any thoughts?

Did you try removing and re-adding the plugin from the project after downloading the expansion? Are you sure the expansion shows as fully downloaded in the standalone?

You shouldn't need to download/install it in the plugin if you did so in the standalone.

  • Thanks @wim. Yes, tried all those steps.

I removed the app entirely from my iPad, and redownloaded it.
Here's a video of doing that, then only in the standalone version, restoring the purchase and downloading / installing the content.

    Any thoughts on next steps?

Other than contacting the developer? Nope.
They seem like they're very responsive when contacted through their official channels.

  • There’s the FREE Factory Content (which you have installed) BUT there’s also a Factory Content IAP.. I’m pretty sure you need to buy the IAP version for this to work.. it’s 6GB to download..

Right. The INFO for Creatmoshpere says it requires the "Factory Content", which is now an IAP. You can check whether you have it in DOWNLOAD. It was part of the original purchase before the app went freemium. Also, what is your version of PSP? There have been some versions that "lost" the Factory Content.

    Thanks @royor and @uncledave.
I have version 2.6.6 of Pure Synth Platinum.

Didn't see that requirement about purchasing another expansion (ie: Factory Content) in order to be able to use Creatmosphere...nor did the app tell me that...Purchased the "other" Factory Content expansion for $8 USD and now it works, Thanks for the info @royor and @uncledave

  • @danm How are you liking Creatmoshpere so far? I was thinking of picking it up myself..

@royor, I'm pretty new to all the synth stuff, but have grabbed a bunch of them during these recent sales and I'm very impressed with the Creatmosphere and Suitcase expansion packs. Creatmosphere has lots of really cool ethereal sounds that, for me, are a great balance between what I at least think of as more melodic keyboard/synth sounds and the ones that seem more experimental. I highly recommend it
