how to achieve smoother transition when the loop ends?

what are some techniques to achieve smoother transition when the loop ends to keep the loop pad strings in motion without cutting off at the end? in the video the orange donuts s 8 bars, but as noted when the loop ends it does not transition smoothly as it cuts off as loop starts over. i know i can extend the bars and keep playing the string progression, but i want to keep the bars at 8 max.
any advice?

Try turning on tail recording and release the note after the loop’s end has been reached.

Tail recording captures that is still playing/fading when the recording ends. If you are recording 8 bars, hold the note so that is still playing or fading out when 8 bars is reached which is the end of the main loop. The tail is what happens after.

You can also try just adding a short fade out time in playback settings.
