    Couldn’t help but be reminded me of the joke that he was going to join Dire Straits and they agreed on calling the band Chris Straits after rejecting other ideas.

    Don’t know that he ever got recognition for his guitar playing - I haven’t heard too many of his songs, but he was a pretty good guitarist yet most people thought of him as primarily a singer.
