U-he Zebra 3 coming
I know u-he plugins have been mentioned before, and that there are quite a few people who make music with desktop apps, but wondering if anyone is planning on buying Zebra 3?
Possibly it’s going to be available in a month or 2, and is now on public beta. I pre-ordered it as an upgrade, so just $35.
Urs makes some amazing software used by some extremely well-known musicians. Really looking forward to this as I know it will be good.

I think I will stick with Serum 2, Diva, Pigments, Phaseplant and the generative stuff in Bitwig plus all the synths in FLStudio. I doubt very much that there’s any sound I cannot make like this, though Zebra may be more powerful in some regards?
That said, if it goes on sale at some point…. I’m tempted.
Urs knows how to treat his customers! I haven't checked out the beta ...just going to wait for the official release. My license is free, as I had previously purchased Zebra HZ.
I dont have any version of Zebra, but have been eying up the last version simply for the amount of presets that come with it.
I think ive become too lazy to program from scratch now and have some decent synths including Pigments, Hive 2, Massive X and lots more.
To be honest I probably spend as much time using the synths in Reason Rack as I do my VSTs. Ive also just rediscovered the pleasures of Logics main synth again.
Those that can get the discounted prices would be almost foolish not to get it though at that price!
Even if you just use presets, once you start tweaking them you can get a lot of extremely unique sounds from Zebra. Urs puts a lot of thought and care into his software.
I also have Zebra, and yes, the upgrade path is so generous! I had the original Zebra, upgraded to the Zebra 2 release and then to the Hans Zimmer (Dark Knight) version. So, now I get the free upgrade to Z3... thanks, Urs! It is one of the best sounding and versatile soft synths available.
no doubt, but having just bought my second Mac and downloaded a scary amount of quite new music software, I better give the buying malarky a pass for a while lol. Those Christmas sales really slaughtered my bank balance!
Even the free version of ZEBRALETTE 3 is amazing, if you can figure it out:)
Even The Zebra Legacy is quite a deal - Zebra 2 plus every soundest they put out for about $100. No upgrade to Zebra 3 though.
Pretty incredible for a free plugin.
All their free stuff is extraordinary
Beatzille, Podolski, Triple Cheese, Tyrell N6. Also CM Has their own versions of Zebralette (a 2 osc version) and Bazille CM
Who needs $ these days? Who has dollars these days$
Urs is definitely someone who gives to the community.
True this. There is a lot of surprisingly fine free synth/soft, but his stuff is top tier. Very generous to give away such refined instruments
Top tier indeed. It’s no surprise that some really big names in the music industry endorse his products.
I actually never used an u-he synth before last week when I installed Zebralette3 and was very impressed. Downloaded the rest of the free synths (I can't buy the full versions).

Just for fun I built a combinator in Reason with all of them. It was just a quick and dirty 30 minutes using factory presets but I want to take the moment to say that the Reason combinator is awesome and I wish something like it was available in AUM, Logic and so on.. (I have suggested it to Cem and Bram too I think but realise Auv3 can't host Auv3 so it has to be the host developer to add something like it, maybe Jonathan would if someone suggested it (don't think so))
