This is really cool. The mix sounds really pristine on “Jay’s Magic Pumpkin Ride” (haven’t listened to “Overload” yet). I’m still a beginner when it comes to mixing and mastering, so listening to this feels really encouraging.
“Overload” is great too! Both songs sound different but work great together!
Thank you so much! My daughter did most of the first song. I did the quieter sections and my wife did the bridge melody . Bass part was the one on GarageBand with fac chorus thrown on
Funny thing about Overdone; I played the melody live on my iPad and I was improvising, and part of it sounded a bit too much like the theme song to Cops 😂 Bass line during the bridge was actually recorded at a Guitar Center, played by my daughter a few years ago .
Everything was recorded in GarageBand ; mastered in Logic Pro using stock plugins along with Toneboosters reverb on the master track !
