Is it possible to go Guitar => Audio Interface with Loopy Pro => Guitar Amp
Hi,
I'm thinking of stopping to use my pedalboard with a looper to practice at home. But I would want to know if it's possible to output the Audio Interface (connected to my iPhone with loopy pro) to my guitar amp ? Are some audio-interface able to output un-amplified signal so my guitar amp will not be dammaged ?
Seeing the capabilities of Loopy Pro compare to very expensive pedal Looper I realy like the idea to replace my looper pedal by my iphone with loopy but can find tutorial or things like that with using a guitar amp.
Thanks for your help and guidelines.

Hi,
Want you to do is possible, but you have to be careful with levels and impedance.
What are your audio interface and your amp ?
Hi,
My amp is a Markbass Micromark 801 (yes I said guitar but I play bass) and I've not bought the audio interface for the moment that's why I asked the question to see if it was possible with some audio interface and buy the right one.

So, I'm not 100% sure, but I think that to make want you want your signal flow should be like that :
Perhaps some audio interfaces can output at instrument level ? That would prevent you from buying a reamp box.
I hope not to say wrong things
Yes. Reamp box is your best bet. Radial makes one.
merde, those critters are expensive. 😂
I wonder if a cheaper alternative such as this one is feasible: https://a.co/d/j7MEBnW
Looks good for the price!
Radial makes premium stuff for studios - and they are super tough for going on the road with. You'll get the full signal, but maybe OP just needs something simple.
To be honest, if he's going into a bass amp and only playing guitar (not synth or vocals), I would patch it straight in. Guitar doesn't need super high fidelity. I've often used a bass amp to replace a PA, even with a microphone. Good enough for many genres.
If @Mushr00m already has a volume pedal, I would also try to simply plug the output of the audio interface to this volume pedal before amp's input to lower the signal and see if it sounds ok.
Thanks for all your replies. I was afraid that a reamp was needed it make the setup more complex and expensive just for a practicing one... From what you guys are saying it's realy not common practice to have audio interface that can output un-amplified signal (sort of a line-out I think) to a guitar amp...
If it's just for practicing, and if you don't really "care" about your bass sound, you can keep your setup simple by using an amp sim in Loopy Pro and your amp as a simple "speaker" by plugging the output of the audio interface to the Aux input of your amp.
The iRig HD2 interface has an instrument out so that you can plug the output into an amp’s instrument channel.
If you use a xsonic xtone pro you can put that either in your effectsloop, parallel or serial, or in front of the amp. The interface has a hardware monitoring option that bring latency for your direct level to zero. It has 6 footswitches to be assigned to anything that you would run on an iphone/ipad. I have been using that for most of my effects, loops, synths etc in the effectsloop of my guitar system.
The Axe IO one has amp out as well. It's a nice interface.

I also have the Joyo Reamp and it works as well.
I have a similar question, but I think my situation might be a bit simpler. I have a Headrush FRFR amp, and I want to connect guitar -> effects pedal (Valeton GP200) -> Audio Interface (Scarlett 2i2) -> Loopy Pro, with the amp connected to the audio interface (so it gets the Loopy Pro output). Am I OK with this setup to connect the audio interface output to the AUX input of the amp? I have 2 specific concerns:
As is probably obvious, I'm very new to all of this. I've not used an audio interface at all before, except for some very simple playing around with a DAW on my PC. So any help would be appreciated.
