Loopy pro, I still haven't found what I'm looking for....
Hi everyone,
I’m having quite a hard time with Loopy Pro and I really need some help. There are at least two major issues, but first let me describe my setup:
-Loopy Pro as clock master
-DM10 app as drum machine (drum parts already composed)
-Synth One / Synth One J6 for synth sounds
-M-Vave Chocolate footswitch to record and control loops
-VoiceLive 3 for vocal and guitar effects
Everything is connected to the iPad through an iRig Pro Duo
Problem 1
For my workflow, I really need to use the Sequencer view, but after the first 16–20 bars the sequencer does not advance anymore, and I completely lose track of where I am in the song. I can’t figure out how to properly enable or link the transport (at least ChatGPT suggested this might be the issue).
How can I make the sequencer playhead move continuously so I can see the bars scrolling and follow the song structure?
Problem 2
During the first chorus, I would like to record a guitar loop that I can reuse later in the song to play a solo. However, when I press the footswitch to play the loop, it does not start immediately: it waits until the loop cycle completes.
I can’t understand how to tell Loopy Pro that this loop should start immediately when I press the footswitch, so it comes in exactly when I start the solo.
I’m sure this is mostly my fault, since I’m still inexperienced with Loopy Pro, but the learning curve feels quite steep for me, especially coming from a hardware-based background.
Thanks a lot to everyone in advance!

@jobbe78 :
Problem 1: normally loopy pro scrolls to follow the play bar as long as you don’t manually scroll the window. If you manually scroll, Loopy turns off scrolling. When playback is stopped, if you scroll back to the beginning the auto scrolling should turn back on when you start playback again.
If playback scrolling stops in other circumstances, please make a screen recording showing the problem starting from before you start playback.
Problem 2: when playback starts is determined by the play quantization settings. You can set that in the global playback settings, color settings or individual clip settings OR in the play action’s settings.
The help in the settings panel describes the basics. More detail can be found in the clip settings section of the manual. If you want playback to start at the beginning of the next bar, set it to Custom->1 Bar
