    That piece is incredible. The amount of work that must have gone into figuring out how to prepare the piano to make it work boggles the mind. Well, mine at least.

    I've often wondered why some developer doesn't make something like a prepared piano. Or Pianoteq seems like they could do a great job. (I just sent them an email about it.)
    The John Cage pieces are also really good. So 'contemporary' sounding for something composed in the 1940s.

    Very cool and intense composition. I would have liked hearing it on a conventional piano as well. My first exposure to prepared piano came when I was about 12 years old, transitioning from accordion to piano. This is what I heard…

    I also removed the boards from beneath and above the keyboard and tried different things, being careful to put it back together before my parents found out.

    In addition to avant garde styles, Ms Williams also composed straightforward, modern jazz. This is a good one…
