Can someone help me with multi out?

If I load up Splat to Clat, Koala or Oneshot into Cubasis and I want to use one of those apps for drums, I select the option to load more instances of one of them via multi out, but it’s still putting everything on one track. Can someone walk me through doing this so that each “pad” is on its own track, so that my drums are on separate tracks?

    It depends on the plugin. Each has it's own way of assigning which output the audio goes out over.

    • In Koala you set the output for each pad from the Edit window > Mix tab
    • In OneShot you select it from the button just below the level fader on each slot
    • I don't have Splat to Clat, so I can't say for that one.

    Thanks Wim. I’ll play around with it and see if I can get working right. I’ve done it before, but for some reason I’m not doing something right.

    Numbering of the outputs / channels can be confusing. Many, apps output everything to the first track, whether or not you assign outputs to other tracks. Then sometimes the first output is labeled track 2 in the DAW but is really the first output in the app.
