Export Clips with EQ plug-in etc.

As far as I know the only way to export clips with EQ or any other effect applied to them, is to use Export Audio (Stereo Mix or Multi-track) in SEQ. This is rather cumbersome and it would be far more convenient if this could be done at Clip level. I understand it needs to be rendered some how hence you need to record (or simply pencil) your clips first in SEQ and export as Multi-track, but this implicates many extra steps. Could it be possible to render the Clips with EQ etc. without SEQ them?

Currently exporting from the timeline or resampling to another clip and exporting are the only ways to export with effects applied.

Thanks. Hopefully we can 'Bounce > Clip in Place' one day like we can in Logic Pro called 'Regions in Place'.
