I do not have 1. about 30 minutes after that post, i grabbed it. Thanks for the feedback everyone. Really appreciate it.
Thanks @ecou @Crafty Curate @PapaBPoppin & @Gavinski
Enjoy ! 🙂
I have a really dumb question. Is Transit 2 used as a bus effect and you send all your tracks to it, does it go in the master channel or is it used as an effect in an individual track?
Can be used in all these ways.
Thanks. I'll play around with it.
Very often when I select a new effect from the drop down menu or the bar at the top - I am getting a very definite audible pause in the music. The Macro knob is set at zero, using it in AUM. Anyone else noticed this?
Transit 2 is the mall's walls... a huge (and rapid!) upgrade from Transit. Question for @BabyAudio (to which I don't expect a hard answer!): As even more feature suggestions come in, is there a strong possibility we could see more iterations of Transit in the future? or is it safe to consider Transit 2 (+ any nice updates) the complete, definitive experience?
I guess I'm wondering whether the Transit "identity" is more an evolving project or more a self-contained product which was lucky enough to have seen a big upgrade.
Sorry we missed your question @satchnut - I think it's safe to say there will be a Transit 3 in the future. We're already looking at what features could make sense. Needless to say they would need to be substantial to justify a version number upgrade – but we have a couple of "substantial" ideas
Not likely to be 2026 but it will come eventually. Meanwhile, Transit 2 is obviously a complete workstation and realistically you could probably just use that and never upgrade and still be very happy with V2.
I was just coming here to post this. There is an audible audio drop and lag when switching a preset. Like some kind of a buffer reset that cuts the audio passing through with a little delay lag.
It lasts less than a second but is very audible and makes it impossible to switch presets while playing live.
@BabyAudio any chance of a bug fix? It’s definitely not a feature.
I LOVE Transit 2 so much and live preset switching without a glitch would allow for some epic live effects.
To be clear I’m not looking for instantaneous preset switching, just preset switching that doesn’t affect the pass through audio.
I’ve done tests in Loopy Pro and it will glitch 100% of the time when preset switching with music passing through it, even with the macro knob set at 0, the fx on at 0% button (infinity symbol) turned off, and switching between 2 presets that both start with a 0% mix level.
Glad to hear someone else has noticed this. I am quite surprised that nobody else has mentioned it given the apps popularity. It’s a real pain and it’s quite apparent.
I had this too. IIRC My work around was to save the preset stored in Transit2 and save it as a NEW Preset in LP, I'm pretty sure this fixed this issue. But yeah, would also be nice if we didn't have to do that as there are 1000+ presets in T2
@BabyAudio - can you acknowledge that you have noticed the query re gaps in the sound as mentioned above. I wrote to app support but got no reply from there.
Great effect to recreate in Drambo. Envelope follower driving grain shifter module parameters is super fun. Great on percussive stuff.

Hi there,
We responded to your initial email on Jan 23rd, and also the one sent this Wednesday, Feb 4th.
With Transit 2 there will be some sort of noticeable transition because you're processing audio in real time, and the effects go from bypassed to engaged & modulating all at once. A few modules in Transit 2 do add latency so that will add to this. The "FX on at 0%" and "Smoothing" toggles may help a bit!
A future iteration of Transit is very likely to have a "live" mode of sorts, and this extends to the App Store version as well.
Thanks for that - didn’t get your first reply for some reason - apologies, possibly my fault as I do tend to rattle through the pile whilst deleting, I’m guessing that’s probably what happened. Thanks for the response, I shall wait in hope 👍
Thanks for your response, but I want to be clear that the audio glitch happens when changing between presets that are not processing any audio. It happens changing between any presets, even when everything on those presets is turned completely off, AND the presets are not using any of the modules that introduce significant latency, smooth is off, and fx at 0% is off.
Transit 2 is currently the only effects AUV3 I have that makes a glitch when changing presets. And it is by far not the most CPU intensive of the effects I have. I have some effects that don’t make an audio glitch, even when changing between presets that are processing audio immediately, while using more CPU.
The only way i can get it to not glitch is if the effect is fully bypassed while changing presets, not usable in a performance setting unfortunately.
It seems like if Transit just cleanly bypassed itself when a preset is being changed, and then renabled itself after the preset change then the issue would be solved. There’s no glitch when bypassing and renabling so it’s an issue only if you change a preset while audio is passing through.
Thanks for your help, and an otherwise fantastic and innovative product. 💕
