Action system in loopy pro

Unfortunately, I'm stuck, even though it's probably quite simple: I use an Akai MPK Mini 4 to control various plugins on different MIDI channels (one MIDI channel per plugin with the Akai as the source). To switch between instruments live, I created buttons in Loopy Pro.

My goal: I want to use these buttons to mute or activate the respective MIDI channel strips (with the Akai as the source) without having to open the mixer.

Question: How do I link the buttons I've created to the mute function of the channels? Unfortunately, I can't seem to get into Action Edit mode. Is this explained in a YouTube video clip?

You edit the canvas and its widgets by going into canvas edit mode.

In edit mode, you can tap on any widget to add actions.

Here are some learning resources, I recommend for getting started:

    • take or re-take the entire built in tour. You can open it from the Help menu.
    • open the sample projects and tutorials in the Sample Projects folder
    • make use of the manual and wiki which you can access via the Help menu
    • Check out the tutorial and performance videos that are available : https://wiki.loopypro.com/Main_Page#Videos_and_Tutorials
