More Outgrowth scanning

I’ll dive into other modes soon enough, but for the moment, I’m hooked on the scanning mode.

This is 3 piano samples and a vocal sample.

And a little Eventide Blackhole.

Talk to me, please.

  • Another rad track! Which one of the Retain/Reflect/etc modes are you enjoying the most?

  • I like the visuals and the piece. Man, you pull out some great sounds out of Outgrowth. I find myself wishing I could see what you're doing in the app, but there's also probably not a whole lot to see.

I find all your pieces with Outgrowth inspiring to explore it even more myself.

I like your pieces a little better that have a bit melodic content and movement lurking under the atmosphere. But I'm that way with all ambient works. I'm probably not your best target audience. 😉

  • This is utterly lovely, Yvonne. ❤️ I love this. You're really making the most of Outgrowth!

  • Thanks @Squishy!

It’s somewhat horses for courses with the modes but I find that I lean on Retain and Reflect most often. This particular piece uses Reflect.

    Perfect!

I do understand your aversion for titling your releases but it's easy to miss when you use "another" and "more" in place for them. Just a little pointer observation 😃

You’re right, there’s not a lot to see. One of the (many) things I like about Outgrowth is that it’s pretty easy to do a lot with a little.

    Thank you!

I’ll take your observation into consideration.🙂

  • When I hear pieces like this I wish I still smoked weed. Definitely reminds me of a lot of the 70s music that friends and I used to listen to - lots of Krautrock and artists that were little known outside of the festival circuit.

  • Thanks @michael_m.

    The 70s was my decade!🙂

I expect to hear an Outgrowth Disco track then. Don't think you can't get off that easily. 😉
[edited for mistaken pronoun use. Sorry about that!]
