Hi everyone,

My name is Jeroen and I’m new to the forum. I’ve actually never been an active forum user before (apart from social media), but I decided to take the leap this time because I’m super enthusiastic about Loopy Pro.

I’m mainly a choir conductor for pop choirs, and since this month Loopy Pro has become a fixed part of my setup. I also work with choir improvisation and circle songs, and I think Loopy Pro can be a fantastic addition to that as well.

At the moment I’m mostly busy creating my own template, inspired by all the amazing tutorials and content that’s out there about Loopy Pro — especially the Artist in Residence, incredibly inspiring and valuable.

    Looking forward to your experiences in a choir setting. I don't think we've had that kind of input about Loopy Pro usage in that situation, so it'll be interesting.

    Just a general forum question: I notice that almost no one uses their real name as a username.
    In a gaming context I totally get that, but what’s the reason for it here?

    Hi, Jeroen! As someone who is also new to the forum, I may not be the best person to welcome you, but welcome anyway! :D

    As for your question regarding usernames, I think it’s possible people associate them with artistic monikers as it’s a common practice in music making. Curiously enough, though, you made me realize that I’m not only an exception to that rule - and wasted an opportunity to use the name of my own musical project - but also a quite unoriginal one at that, since I’ve combined my actual name and birthday…

    10+ years of choir experience as a participant/performer. Never have I thought of using a looper in such a case... Looking forward to revelations.
