New instrumental song by frenq called Skyline

SKYLINE

https://hearthis.at/frenq/skyline/

In a dim little bar at the edge of town, Skyline drifted into a new jazz‑soaked life. frenq leaned into the groove while CP’s guitar carved warm, wandering lines through the smoke. A trumpet and trombone answered each other in a playful duet, brass weaving around the strings. Every note felt like a quiet rebellion, a small world built on rhythm and soul. What do you think of this new Skyline vibe.

  • I really like the feel good vibe to this one. Especially like the brass jamming, but that's the trumpeter in me probably, lol. Great track. It's like a musical smile. Thanks for sharing.

  • Hello @Dav thanks for your nice comment and listening. Keep playing the trumpet! frenq

That was a nice mix of awesome guitar and brass, it first started off sounding like a great band called Jadis, a mild prog rock band from Southampton uk, your guitar work is very similar, you are either in a band or have been, great guitar sound, and then the swing took over, the brass section was a nice surprise, especially the duet, wow, sounded like Louis Armstrong on trumpet. Overall a very well produced and convincing mix.

Thanks for your nice comment and listening Mike! I didn't play the guitar, CP did. I composed and mixed the song and played several instruments. More of me can be found at https://hearthis.at/frenq/

    Cheers, frenq

No wonder the brass sounds so amazing, I didn’t realise you actually played the sax!
I was thinking to myself, how did he manage to get such convincing brass on a DAW using plugins……now I know.
I take my hat off to you, very professional mix, vey professional playing. I still love the guitar work.

  • I've decided to stay and support the people who have been good to me even if I don't post my own music anymore. So, this track is amazing. The guitar work, the sax, everything. What an amazing production. Love it.

Can't wait for your next track Frenq. I know it'll be great.
