Makes me think of those little towns along the Thames Estuary. Usually with a pub that has a dock on its river side, and they’re sleepy and the pace of life is like the waters that pass by them.
Been years since I went to one, so maybe they’re not quite like that anymore. Lunchtime pints, sitting on the grass somewhere and listening to a busker that only has us as an audience. Summertime bliss.
