    Did you try disabling mic access for Borderlands in the Settings app and trying your old setup? As I mentioned up-thread, someone found that solved some crashes when Borderlands was in the background.

    It might not make a difference but is worth a try.

    It makes no difference here. The problem still occurs (iPadOS 26.3).

    I tried this also. No change. Like wim said above, it seems that borderlands does not keep running in the background when you disable the effect in loopy. The others (AUM, Audiobus) leave it running in the background.
