How to cycle an Action List?

I am sure that I have seen this before, but I just cannot find it anymore, and it’s probably just obvious …
A button is set up with a number of actions timed with one bar of delay. There must be a way to use the last action to triggered the first action again, right?
Thanks for support

I suggest using a stepped dial. It can nudge itself. If wraparound is on, it will go back to the first step when nudged. To nudge a dial, you use Trigger Widget with the scroll action. Nudge is an option when the action is set to scroll.

I have to admit that the dial confuses me

Trying to add the items I encounter behaviour that I do not understand

All I want is to play a pair of clips, then switch to the next pair of clips after a certain amount of time and after the last pair in the list play the first pair again, automatically sequencing endlessly, until I interrupt with some other move

This is how I am trying, but I miss the nudging

(I use the buttons to do the same thing manually)

When you have multiple actions on a button, if you tap the circle to the left of each after the first and select Next Trigger, the button will cycle through the actions. You may want to turn off feedback on the button as it'll probably be confusing.

Item Source is not for cases like this. It is generally for loading a dials steps with things like presets or midi messages.

    See:

    https://wiki.loopypro.com/Stepped_Dials

On that page, there is a section about setting up dials for “next trigger” like behavior.

Dials are superior to next trigger for a few reasons:

    • they can be reset
    • you can see what step they are on

I also suggest taking a look at the manual for more info about stepped dials and radio buttons. It was updated not long ago.

    Thank you @espiegel123
The revised manual is clearer to understand, although it is still confusing. But at least I could figure out how to set up a button to wrap a stepped dial around

    This is the button

    And this is the dial:

    This is working well.
What I couldn't understand yet though:

How can I make this cycle by itself, say play clip 1 and then play clip 2 etc. and after the last: play clip 1 again and so forth ?

    Thanks again for your patience

To cycle itself, add trigger widget actions that nudge the dial where you want them.

    For example: https://wiki.loopypro.com/Edward's_Example_Projects#Dial_Sequencers_1.1
